As January sinks in and the winter doldrums start to hit, you need to come up with fun and inventive ways to keep the kidoodles occupied. Especially when you’re all cooped up at home. Well, I am here to offer you a reprieve from the same-old-same-old…
I’m sure you’ve seen Hobby Horses around – they are the quintessential children’s toy. They can be super cute, they spur the imagination and encourage movement! Kids+creativity+exercise = a more relaxed household! And happier parents…
Yesterday, I found this awesomely easy tutorial for a beautiful hobby horse which can be made in a very short time. If you’re adventurous, you could even have the kids help you make it. Otherwise, make it while they nap or in the evening after they’ve retired to bed.
How great is this horse???
Don’t you just LOVE LOVE LOVE??? Wanna make it? Go get the tutorial from Danyelle Mathews over at Dandee Designs. She is super talented, so take a look around her site after you’ve finished making the horsie!
If you do make it, please send me a picture. I’d love to see the results. I’ll post mine when it’s done (I’m planning on making it this weekend).
