confessions of a modern mom

Happy Thanksgiving and Hanukkah!

What a special day today is – a double holiday for some of us. We celebrate the festival of lights as give thanks for all that we have. There is so much for me to be thankful for, especially this year. We are fortunate to not only have a roof above our heads, but a beautiful home that has been filled with love and laughter. We have a gorgeous family. Our friends are incredible. We have a life that is not always easy (it’s HARD a lot of the times), but we do our best to focus on the positive and be happy. And we are – I am so glad that we are truly happy.

I wish that for all of you – happiness and fulfillment. Things get tricky. Life gets messy. Things don’t always go our way. But, I hope each day you can find something that is good and positive in your life. Always try to see the light and be grateful for the things you have. Have a wonderful holiday.

Bella made a Menorah that says “Toda” (in Hebrew that means Thanks): it’s a perfect blend of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah, right?
